Our Story
In India, unfortunately, families tend to favor boys' education over girls'. Many girls are made to stay home without an education or a means to one. In rural areas, many families, due to financial and safety reasons, may hold back or prevent girls from going to school. Although the Indian Government provides free tuition, school supplies, uniforms, and free lunch to girls, they don't provide them with transportation to school. This creates a barrier between girls and their educational aspirations.
We wanted to create an organization where we could change this societal problem. Pedal2Success uses donations to purchase bikes for girls so they have a way to get to school, making them more independent. We believe that every kid has the right to a fair and accessible education. Our Representatives
The Founders of Pedal2Success have been working with Phaltan Education Society (PES) since the beginning of 2020. With the help of PES, we were able to donate bicycles to underprivileged girls of some of the rural schools around Phaltan City near Pune, Maharashtra in India. Pedal2Success is also collaborating with Rayat Shikshan Sanstha (RSS) & Nashik Education Society (NES) to reach out to schools in the Sangli and Nashik districts.
Pedal2Success really appreciates the help of our partners. You can become a partner to support our cause by donating yearly or helping us raise money by organizing various charitable events. You can also collaborate with us if you are affiliated with any educational institute with kids in need of educational aid.
